Bellinge Community House - Amazing support for the residents - Thanks

If you have a young person or are between the Ages of 16-24 have your voice heard......The Government plans to put young people in England at the center of designing a £90 million programme to help tackle the barriers to education, employment and training that many of them face.
The programme is not open for applications at this stage, but they are asking young people to be at the heart of its design, as they are best-placed to say what needs to change so they can access more opportunities and be supported into employment.

Health Walk Meet at Bellinge Community House 10am Short Walk, Advanced 10:40am – call in for a Cuppa and Chat afterwards £1.00.
Billing Joggers Mondays 6pm meet at Bellinge Community House – 6.00pm with Lynett Pilgrim and Paula Cowley. Ongoing.
Core de Force Mondays 7:15pm at the Bellinge Community Centre, Ecton Brook. Suitable for beginners or those who are in search for more of a challenge. £2.50 per session.
Brush up your English Monday 8th January until Monday 5th February, 9:30-11:30am. Get started with English with the possibility to progress onto a longer qualification course.

Fitstart Meeting at Bernard Weston Pavilion from 7pm with Billy Hawkins. This outdoor beginner’s fitness session is for those starting from scratch. Please wear suitable footwear.

Beginners IT course Starting Thursday, 1st February, 9:30-11:30am. Using formatting tools, editing and correcting mistakes, saving and finding documents, using Word features in emails. Held at Bellinge Community House.
Next-step IT Starts Thursday, 22nd February from 9:30-11:30am for six weeks. Create an email address and Universal Job Match account, gain confidence in job searching. Held at Bellinge Community House.
IT Skills for Job Seekers Practical skills using the computer, CV’s, accounts on job sites, Universal Job Match, online job applications etc. Thursday 22nd Feb – Thursday 29th March.
Website building Starts 14th June. Start your own website (HTML and CSS) along with word-processing and skills building. 9:30am – 11:30am, six weeks free course.
Knit and natter Do you enjoy or are you interested in knitting or just interested on some learning? Come along and share your skills or learn some, you could surprise yourself! 9:30-11:30am, £1 a week (including refreshments).

AIM award in Volunteering (1 unit) Thursdays April 19th and 26th from 9:30am-2:30pm. For residents currently or wanting to volunteer – benefits, rights, skills, responsibilities, where to look for opportunities with Lynne Watkinson.
Mindfulness Monday 16th April. 9:30-11:30am. Taster session – the art of being mindful with Karren Bennett.
Making for fund raising Thursday 13th May, 9:30-11:30am. 4 sessions. Items to make and learn to price with Natalie Smith.
Brush up your maths Wednesday 6th June, 9:30-11:30am. 6 weeks course with Helen Welsh.
Create your first website Thursday 14th June, 9:30-11:30am. 6 week course with David Reed. Coding, HTML and CSS. SIX PLACES ONLY.
